Janome s MOD-100 combines cutting-edge technology with all the sewing features you know and love to bring you a machine that will make the sewing process easier. The MOD-100 features a built-in needle threader, presser foot lift, easy navigation buttons, and an auto-declutch bobbin winder. These features when combined with 100 built-in stitches, 7-piece feed dog, drop feed, and the ability to sew up to 820 stitches per minute truly make the MOD-100 a dream to sew with. Janome s MOD-100 offers superior sewing capabilities that will have you finishing your projects with confidence and precision. This model is also referred to as the 81100DC.

Features:

100 Built-in Stitches:
The MOD-100 offers a broad range of stitches. Choose from utility, decorative, and buttonhole stitches to complete your project.

7 One-Step Buttonholes:
Included in the 100 stitches you get seven one-step buttonholes. Create square, round-end, fine fabric, keyhole, stretch, antique, and a welted buttonhole. The automatic buttonhole foot that is included with the MOD-100 makes sewing buttons a breeze.

Start Stop Button:
Press this button to start or stop the machine when sewing without a foot control. The machine will begin sewing slowly for the first few stitches, and will gradually increase to the speed set by the speed control slider.

820 Stitches Per Minute:
The Janome MOD-100 has the ability to sew up to 820 stitches per minute, allowing you to complete projects faster.

Drop Feed:
Located underneath the free arm bed on the back of the machine is the lever to lower the feed dogs. This useful feature will allow you to free motion quilt.

Free Arm:
The free arm is ideal for cylindrical sewing items such as pant legs or shirt sleeves. To access the free arm, merely remove the auxiliary bed.

7-Piece Feed Dog:
The 7-piece feed dog system on the MOD-100 will ensure that your fabric is fed smoothly, no matter if it is heavy denim or light linens.

Onboard Storage:
Located in the bed of your MOD-100 is a small onboard storage area that is ideal for bobbins, needles, thread, and other small necessities.

Backlight LCD Screen With Easy Navigation Keys:
See what is going on with your machine by viewing the easy to read backlight LCD screen. Displayed on the screen, you can see the recommended presser foot, stitch pattern number, cursors, stitch width, and stitch length. The MOD-100 also has convenient navigation keys that will allow you to change the pattern, stitch width, and stitch length.
