Adjustable LED Light

LED lighting allows you to sew or quilt for hours on end without the eye strain that s associated with traditional bulbs. This illuminates your project without putting off unsafe heat and lasts substantially longer than traditional sewing machine bulbs. A switch in the needle area allows you to adjust the brightness of the light between high, medium, low, and off. Even Feed Foot

The Juki TL-18QVP comes with an included even feed foot at no extra cost. Also known as a walking foot, it works wonders when sewing multiple layers of fabric. The top teeth sandwich the layers of fabric with the feed dogs, ensuring reliable and beautiful seams.

Heavyweight Materials

Juki s TL-18QVP easily sews through thick materials such as denim, vinyl, and leather. A special speed control mechanism allows the machine to sew at low speeds. This provides an accurate feed and perfect stitching when sewing heavyweight fabrics, quilts, or multiple layers of materials.

Automatic Needle Threader

Thread your machine in seconds with the automatic needle threader. No need to squint or search the old-fashioned needle threads; this machine does it for you.

Sub Tension Unit

The improved thread tension system intelligently avoids the return of twisted threads, even when using strongly twisted thread, giving you a more stable stitch tension and eliminating thread quivering .

Drop Feed Dogs

No need to install a special darning plate to do free motion quilting. The Juki TL18QVP has a built in lever that, when pressed, automatically lowers the feed dogs so you can quickly switch to free motion quilting.

Knee Lift Lever

This is an essential feature for efficient quilting. This allows you to keep both hands on your quilt while using your knee to lift the presser foot; you ll never go back to quilting without one again!

Speed Control Dial

This is especially useful with detailed quilting, like feathering and stippling. The speed control can be lowered to as slow as 200spm or maxed out at 1500spm.

Presser Foot Pressure Adjustment

This is a must have feature for those serious about creating the perfect stitch. This knob allows you to adjust the force exerted on your fabric by the presser foot, which improves how your fabric is fed through your machine.

Automatically Stops in Needle Down Position

An essential feature for quilters, the needle automatically stops in the down position, which prevents your fabric from shifting out of place when pivoting.

Easy Bobbin replacement with sliding plate

This feature allows the user to access the bobbin even with the auxiliary table is in place. The enlarged bobbin case area makes it easier to remove and replace the front loading bobbin case.

Automatic Thread Cutting with Foot Control

Save yourself time and reduce thread waste by simply pressing the thread cutting button located on the front of your machine. For more efficient sewing, use the foot pedal to trim both your needle and bobbin thread at the same time; simply rock back onto your heel to engage the automatic thread cutter.

Float Function (Micro-Lifter)

One of the reasons the TL-18QVP is the top of the line in the TL Series is because of the Float Function (Micro-Lifter). This advanced feature is something that you normally only see on industrial machines. The Float Function will prevent uneven sewing on quilts and velvet, as well as stretched stitches on knit fabrics. The presser foot floats 0 to 2mm above the material, making it useful for sewing over thick seams.

Attachment Mounting Plate

Slow-Motion Switch
